FA Utilities 1.0 offers a component for users to manage tasks from Flowable workflows.

Why?

FA provides integrated developer tools for forms and workflows (Flowable and form.io), but earlier you could not launch workflows within our applications. The new feature is designed to provide our customers with the possibility to launch custom workflows within FA applications and their context.

Who is this for?

For all users who have workflows implemented with Flowable in FA Developer application.

Details

We added the following functionality:

  • Launching a process.

  • Showing the status of ongoing processes.

  • Continuing a process.

To access the new Tasks and workflows view, click the tasks_and_worflows_button.png icon in the Global app bar. The icon is visible in all FA applications. The workflows can be launched by other applications, such as FA Fund Management or FA Client Portal.

You can continue workflows that were launched earlier but weren’t finished. Also, you can complete a step in a process that someone else launched (for example, approve a step).

Workflows can be grouped either by assignee or workflow. On a workflow there is a due date visible if there is any but if it is missing the user sees the creation date, when the task was created.

You can manage the workflow tasks: view, assign a task to a user or complete a task.
